Christmas Gift Tags (Part 1)

These fun animal gift tags are perfect for when the cat or dog is giving the gift!

The tag and puppy are die cuts.  The background is stamped with subtle snowflakes and then the sentiment is stamped on.  The puppy is given a cute face with a stamp.  The ball and band on the hat are covered in white glittery flocking powder.  The tag's finishing touch is a tied baker's twine bow.

The sentiment on the back coordinates with the image on the front.

The tag and kitty are both die cuts.  The background is stamped with the same subtle snowflakes as the puppy tag, as well as the same sentiment.  The kitty's face is also made with a stamp and features some shiny and glittery gel pen accents on the tongue and nose.  The ball and band of the hat have the same glittery white flocking powder on them.  This tag features a red baker's twine bow.

The sentiment also coordinates with the kitty image on the front.

The snowflake tag is a die cut from an electronic machine, while the snowman is a die cut from a hand powered machine.  All the snowman's accessories are also cut from metal dies.  The face is stamped and the nose colored with a marker.  The tag is finished off with some blue blingy gems and shades of blue baker's twine.

A simple to and from stamp finish off the back.

Star Wars Christmas Tag

I am making my brother a quilt featuring some "Star Wars" Christmas fabric, so I thought I would coordinate the gift tag!

The tag and banner were cut with metal dies.  Darth Vader, his antlers, and nose are all cut with my Cricut.

I adhered Vader with some foam tape to give the tag a little dimension.  I also tied on three pieces of baker's twine.  I will use that to tie this to the package once it is finished and wrapped.

The nose is covered in glitter, then covered in glossy accents to make it nice and shiny.

I used stamps to create the back of the tag.  I colored in the lights with Distress Markers.

I covered the lights with some Wink of Stella for a touch of sparkle.

Winter Alpaca

To create this fun background, I stamped all the snowflakes with embossing ink, then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  After they were heat embossed I then used pumice stone and tumbled glass Distress Ink to cover the mat and give the effect of a snowy, wintry sky.

I just love this fun sentiment!
