On Fire!

Here is a fun birthday card for someone who loves dragons!

It is a z-fold card made from white card stock.  I then layered the card with black and flame card stock.

The dragon is from SVG Cutting Files, but it was from a past blog hop and is no longer available.  I covered his eyes, claws, and tail spikes with glossy accents.  His wings are covered in crackle accents and his orange horns on his head are covered in Stickles.  I also used some Distress Ink around the edges of the grey for added depth.  His head is adhered with foam tape for dimension.

The sentiments are stamped.  The one in the bottom corner is from My Favorite Things and the one in the mat is from Jaded Blossom.  I also used a metal die from Jaded Blossom for the white mat.  I finished off the card with some sequins.

Music to My Ears

I decided to use "Wrap It Up" again on today's project.  This time I made a gift card holder.

The gift card holder and its mats were made with Jaded Blossom dies.  I also used stamps from them for the gift card grid and all the sentiments.

The headphones are the cut I used from "Wrap It Up" and the music notes are from "Groovy Times."  I used twine to create a cord for the headphones.  I also added some glossy accents to the red parts of the headphones.

Father's Day Cards

These are the cards I made for my dad and my father-in-law for Father's Day.

The first card I made is in the shape of a cowboy hat.  I added some glossy accents to the accents on the hatband.  I stamped sentiment using a stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  It is stamped on a tag cut from a Jaded Blossom die.  Part of the brim of the hat has foam tape under it for dimension, then the tag was slipped partially under it.

The second card I made used a bunch of Jaded Blossom dies.  The black checkered mat, the circles, and the white strip were all cut with them.  I used a stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps for the sentiment and one from Tim Holtz for the image.  The train image is heat embossed on the circle.
