Some Bunny Special

This time I decided to use the tag feature on the "Wrap It Up" Cricut cartridge to create this cute gift tag.  It would work for a birthday, Mother's Day, or even Easter.  The back is blank to personalize it for whatever event I want to use it for.

I cut the white layer twice and on one of them I cut out just the fence.  I then embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked it a little with some Distress Ink.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.  I added a twine tie at the top and also a twine bow.

The bunny and grass are both metal dies from Jaded Blossom.  I finished it off with some gem flowers.

Bread & Butter

I made a Valentine's Day treat tag today!  I am giving this to my husband with a little Reese's treat (his favorite)!  He just loves bread, has it with every meal, and has said he could just live off of bread alone if necessary, so I thought this would a cute image and sentiment for him!

The whole thing was made with Jaded Blossom products.  The tag is from Luggage Tag Dies.

The sentiment is made from three different stamp sets.  "Valentine" is from the Valentine Luggage Tag, I simply masked off all the parts of the sentiment I didn't want.  "We go together like" is from We Go Together Like 2.  "Bread and butter" is from We Go Together Like....

The bread and butter are both from You're My Butter Half.  I stamped them, then cut them out with my Scan 'n' Cut.  I colored them using colored pencils.  I added glossy accents to the melty part of the butter.  I then adhered them to the tag with foam tape.

The hearts are from Heart Splatters.  I stamped them in a burgundy ink and then covered them in Wink of Stella and glossy accents.  I finished off the tag with a brown twine bow at the top.

I also finished the back of the tag.  I used one of the Stitched Square Dies to cut the white square.  The sentiment is from Sprinkled with Love.  I then added a "to" and "from," both of which are from Fun Money.

This is my entry into the Valentine Challenge at Jaded Blossom.

Christmas Gift Tags (Part 1)

These fun animal gift tags are perfect for when the cat or dog is giving the gift!

The tag and puppy are die cuts.  The background is stamped with subtle snowflakes and then the sentiment is stamped on.  The puppy is given a cute face with a stamp.  The ball and band on the hat are covered in white glittery flocking powder.  The tag's finishing touch is a tied baker's twine bow.

The sentiment on the back coordinates with the image on the front.

The tag and kitty are both die cuts.  The background is stamped with the same subtle snowflakes as the puppy tag, as well as the same sentiment.  The kitty's face is also made with a stamp and features some shiny and glittery gel pen accents on the tongue and nose.  The ball and band of the hat have the same glittery white flocking powder on them.  This tag features a red baker's twine bow.

The sentiment also coordinates with the kitty image on the front.

The snowflake tag is a die cut from an electronic machine, while the snowman is a die cut from a hand powered machine.  All the snowman's accessories are also cut from metal dies.  The face is stamped and the nose colored with a marker.  The tag is finished off with some blue blingy gems and shades of blue baker's twine.

A simple to and from stamp finish off the back.

Star Wars Christmas Tag

I am making my brother a quilt featuring some "Star Wars" Christmas fabric, so I thought I would coordinate the gift tag!

The tag and banner were cut with metal dies.  Darth Vader, his antlers, and nose are all cut with my Cricut.

I adhered Vader with some foam tape to give the tag a little dimension.  I also tied on three pieces of baker's twine.  I will use that to tie this to the package once it is finished and wrapped.

The nose is covered in glitter, then covered in glossy accents to make it nice and shiny.

I used stamps to create the back of the tag.  I colored in the lights with Distress Markers.

I covered the lights with some Wink of Stella for a touch of sparkle.
