Peaceful Winter Scene

This card features a lovely winter scene.

The mat is a piece of watercolor paper that I covered with three shades of Distress Ink: tumbled glass, salty ocean, and chipped sapphire.

I covered the banner with Wink of Stella for some shimmer.

The deer is stamped with embossing ink and heat embossed with embossing powder.

Fancy Pilgrim Hat

We have been having sort of "dress-up" days at work.  Things like "crazy sock day" or "pro football jersey day" and that sort of thing.  Well, Monday is "fancy fall hat" day, so I made a fancy fall hat.

I adhered the assembled hat (which is just over 5" tall) to a headband so that I can wear it.

I used a lot of glitter on this.  It makes all those fancy cut-outs shimmer and sparkle!

Winter Alpaca

To create this fun background, I stamped all the snowflakes with embossing ink, then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  After they were heat embossed I then used pumice stone and tumbled glass Distress Ink to cover the mat and give the effect of a snowy, wintry sky.

I just love this fun sentiment!

Christmas Window

My first Christmas card of the season and it was done with non-traditional colors.

I used a lot of gold embossing powder, dry embossing, and foam tape to give this card a lot of texture and dimension.

This cute birthday card features a monster sized balloon and an adorable little monster!

He has a fun, happy face and is holding on tightly to the balloon's string!

Log Cabin Shaped Card

My sister-in-law's birthday is coming up and my husband asked me to make her a card.  I said I would, but he had to decide what he wanted for a theme for it.  He said it should have a log cabin and a dog sitting on the porch.  I decided to make it into a log cabin shaped card.

The little dog is waiting on the porch to get inside with his present of a bone.
